MABS Edgebanding

MABS edgebanding is a next-generation edge solution developed by CT Edge Band to combine the best qualities of ABS and PVC—delivering enhanced surface performance, improved durability, and greater environmental responsibility. This proprietary material offers high gloss clarity, superior toughness, and excellent temperature resistance, making it ideal for premium furniture and cabinetry applications.

Compared to traditional ABS, MABS features better UV stability, higher flexibility, and greater resistance to cracking or yellowing over time. It is particularly well-suited for high-end residential millwork, luxury retail fixtures, and environments exposed to strong lighting or heat—like kitchens and outdoor cabinetry.

Our MABS edgebanding is produced using a precision extrusion process and is crafted with our exclusive raw material blend. Each batch is uniformly pigmented to ensure clean edge rounding and a flawless surface finish. A universal primer is applied to the reverse side for secure adhesion across a variety of glue systems, including hot-melt, PUR, and zero-joint technology.
